Introduction to Jet Mixing Pump



The jet mixing pump is an equipment which is used in the solid control system. It is installed on the mixing tank or the storage tank.

Main functions:

It can meet requirements of weighting and preparing drilling fluid in mud system for drilling depth ranging from 1,500 meters to 12,000 meters.

Jet mud mixer main types and features:

Jet mixing pump is classified into jet mixing pump and cyclone mixing pump based on the hopper type , and into jet mixing pump and jet shearing pump based on the pump applied . The cyclone/swirl mixing pump consists of a cyclone funnel and a centrifugal pump; the jet mixing pump consists of a jet funnel and a centrifugal pump; the jet shearing pump consists of a jet funnel and a shearing pump. 

Principle and configuration:

The jet mixing pump is used in conjunction with the solid control system, with a sand pump, a mixing hopper, and pipelines and valves connected together. The mainly principle is the Venturi effect.
